This is a British-made multi-piece leather squadron patch with chain stitching for the United States 22nd Photo Reconnaissance 5/7th Photo Reconnaissance Group, 8th Air Force. The patch shows a winged fire-breathing dragon with a camera.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
5-1/4" diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Multi-piece leather patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with muslin backing.
