This is a British-made multi-piece leather squadron patch with chain stitching for the United States 22nd Photo Reconnaissance 5/7th Photo Reconnaissance Group, 8th Air Force. The patch shows a winged fire-breathing dragon with a camera.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:5-1/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Multi-piece leather patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with muslin backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Air Force collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJJX10
CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Patch has some minor unraveling and a slight pen mark, but the colors and design are still wonderful.
