Korean War Japanese-Made DI for US Army 1st Cavalry Division

This is a Japanese-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 1st Cavalry Division. The DI is gold with a black diagonal banner and the silhouette of a horse's head in the upper right.

Circa Korean War.

1-1/16" height and 7/8" width.

Plated brass with enamel.
