Beautiful Japanese-made, Korean War United States 8th Cavalry Regiment Distinctive Insignia. The brass and enameled insignia depicts a white enamel rearing horse with 8 enameled stars beneath signifying the regiment number, an enameled banner at the base of the insignia reads: "HONOR – AND – COURAGE" and reverse still has the paper 'JAPAN' label.
