Italo Balbo 1933 Chicago World's Fair Flight Crociera Aerea Del Decennale XI Commemorative

Original commemorative lapel pin commemorating Crociera Aerea Del Decennale XI, this particular flight consisted of 24 seaplanes/flying boats under the command of Italo Balbo (Air Force Minister under Mussolini) and lasted from 01 July to 12 August 193The flight was from Rome to the Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago, with a stop in New York on the return flight.
