ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful heavy bronze deco aviation badge for the Czech Flight to the 1933 World's Fair. At this time, the World's Fair was held in Chicago, Illinois and was known as "A Century of Progress," a fitting name as its success was unheralded with 48 million visitors, bringing a uplifting hope for the future.

VINTAGE: Ca. 1933

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with over-under catch

MARKINGS: Obverse: "COS DO AMERIKY 1933 Reverse: "PICHL PRAHA"
