ARTIFACT: This is an unidentified World War I era flare gun(?) with German hallmarks. It is numbered on the trigger, and has a locking stud inside the barrel.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/16" in width and 3-3/4" in height; 13/16" in diameter (at barrel).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Screws.

MARKINGS: German hallmarks (one crown, one crown over a "U" inspection mark); 68 (or 89) on trigger.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a German Militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX12 LX5/13 SAJJX4/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The gun has some spots of light wear.
