ARTIFACT: Beautiful, early WWII United States Navy Signal Pistol Mark 5 Flare Gun by R.F. Sedgley. The Bakelite handle of the flare gun shows a diamond-shaped textured embellishment that reads: "USN". The barrel and trigger are painted aluminum and the screws holding it together are steel. The top of the barrel reads: "SIGNAL PISTOL MARK 5 R. F. SEDGLEY INC. 1942" in stamped lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa early WWII

SIZE: Approximately 10-7/8" x 5"; Barrel: 7/8" diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bakelite, painted aluminum, anodized steel
