This is a great, rare, late World War II United States Marine Corps fighter squadron VMF-311 flight jacket patch. The patch reads FIGHTING 311 HELL'S BELLES and shows a nude female warrior leaping form the wing of a fire-breathing aircraft.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:5-1/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered blue patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
