Great Korean War US Marine Corps VMF-212 Devil Cats Flight / Battle Jacket

ARTIFACT:

This is a Korean War United States Marine Corps VMF-212 Flight Jacket, or, more likely Battle Jacket, made from a modified M-43 jacket. The jacket has a HUGE red, black,  and gold patch for the VMF-212 "Devil Cats".

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950.

SIZE:

36R.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton, fully embroidered patch in cotton/silk/polyester threads, resin buttons.

ATTACHMENT:

To be worn on person.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The jacket has several small spots of discoloration/stains on reverse and two small areas of staining near the bottom of the lining.
