ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War Japanese-made United States Marine Corps 224th Fighting Squadron (VMF-224) bullion patch. The patch is badge-shaped and shows four quadrants, two with gold bullion stripes, one with a crown and one with a winged crest. The patch reads VMF-224 at top.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: 5" height and 4-1/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt patch embroidered with gold, silver and copper bullion with muslin backing.
