ARTIFACT:

This is a great purple-backed World War II shoulder patch for the United States 1st Allied Airborne Army. The patch is a winged number one hovering above two crossed swords.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
