ARTIFACT: Beautiful and bright WWII United States Army 1st Allied Airborne shoulder patch. The patch is shield shaped and shows a winged number one in the center with crossed swords beneath. A black banner across the top reads: "ALLIED AIRBORNE" in yellow lettering. This fully embroidered example is almost a "snow back" patch.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/16" x 2-7/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered, cotton/silk/polyester thread

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The patch shows minor wear, the colors are bright, overall excellent condition.
