ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful late World War II US 1st Allied Airborne Army shoulder patch. The patch is German-made and has bullion details in the numeral "1" and the crossed swords at bottom. The reverse of the patch has a subtle herringbone pattern to the weave.

VINTAGE: Circa late World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in bullion and cotton /silk thread.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJJX13 LDGEX8/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some small spots of light wear.
