This is a beautiful late World War II US 1st Allied Airborne Army shoulder patch. The patch is German-made and has bullion details in the numeral "1" and the crossed swords at bottom. The reverse of the patch has a subtle herringbone pattern to the weave.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 2-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in bullion and cotton /silk thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
