This is a shoulder patch for the 1st Allied Airborne Army. The patch reads ALLIED AIRBORNE and shows a winged "1" above two crossed swords.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-5/16" height and 2-7/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent-): Patch shows virtually no wear.
