Great Old WW II-Era Boston MA Newsboy Badge

This is a great old newsboy badge from Boston, Massachusetts. The pin is oval and reads 1942 LICENSED NEWSBOY NO. 46 BOSTON.

Circa 1942.

2-3/4" height and 2" width.

Nickel-plated brass with a plastic and paper insert. There is a back plate which is removable and clips under tabs attached to the front of the badge.

Safety pin with loop attachment.

6+ (Fine +): badge is in decent shape but the plastic insert is slightly warped and the badge is moderately rusty, mostly on the reverse.
