This is a Great Old 1920's-1930's Boston Massachusetts Constable Badge. Great Look!
Originally Nickel Plated Nickel, it looks to have been overplated (front only) in Chrome during the period of use.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1920s - 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 1-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome plated nickel with painted lettering with Nickel back.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:N/A.
