This is a Great Old 1950's Boston Massachusetts Detective Badge Named to W.G. Murphy.
The badge shows an arm drawing a sword at its top and reads BOSTON POLICE SICUT PATRIBUS SIT DEUS NOBIS BOSTONIA CONDITA AD 1630 CIVITATIS REGIMINE CONTATA AD 1822.
VINTAGE:
1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated brass, and black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
