Description
This is a great old Sheriff's Department "No Trespassing" sign from York County, Maine. The sign has the sherriff's name in the right-hand bottom corner: Richard D. Dutremble. Dutremble was sheriff at Alfred, the seat of York County, from 1962 until 197Dutremble was made the State of Maine's United States Marshal in 197The lettering on the sign dates back to the early 1900s, and the design was unchanged from then, except, of course, for the Sheriff's name.
VINTAGE:Circa 1962.
SIZE:Approximately 14" in width by 11" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Oaktag.
