ARTIFACT:
This is a great old circa 1900s or 1910s police badge from New Orleans, Louisiana. The badge is numbered 44 on the cut-out star at center. Instead of the more typical "circle star" design, this impressive badge has a head-turning "crescent" star design.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1900's - 1910's.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel plated Nickel, jeweler's black in lettering, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:
Vertical one-piece safety-style pin.
