ARTIFACT: This is a great old circa late 1930s Inspector badge for the Argus Detective Investigation Service of New Mexico. The badge was made by the Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company and has blue enamel details with a small raised Seal of the State of New Mexico.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: L.A. STAMP & STY CO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old New Mexico detective and private investigator badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RAD-20-2014 LDEJX2/14 RET4/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge has very little wear.
