This is a 1930s New Hampshire Public Service Commission Railroad/Boat Inspector badge. The badge is by S.M. Spencer manufacturing Company of Boston.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:S.M. SPENCER MFG. CO. BOSTON.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a state agency badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRDX10 LGGEX3/12 TVDJJX - TRDX9/14
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The badge shows very little wear except for a few very small spots on reverse.
