This is a great Imperial Bavarian veteran's ribbon from Waldmunchen. The pin part of the ribbon, which reads In Treue Fest (In True Faith), is a crown and sword with a painted blue-and-white diamond patterned shield.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:About 1-3/8" in width by 4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated stamped brass with painted details and silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-type pin with a C catch with a saddle.
MARKINGS:DESCHLER & SOHN MUNCHEN GIESING.
