Description
This is a great handmade silver bracelet for the United States Army Airways Communications System from the China-Burma-India theatre. The bracelet shows three different scenes, all in brightly hued enamel. The first shows a map of India in orange, the second an aircraft orbiting the globe with a lightning bolt in the atmosphere, and the last is a view of the Taj Mahal against an azure sky.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" width and 8-3/4" length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Linked chain with forked locking clasp.
MARKINGS:SILVER.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Bracelet has a medium tarnish and a small piece of the enamel on the India map is missing.
