This is a handmade odd variant World War II CBI (China-Burma-India) shoulder patch for the United States Army. The design of the patch is a white Chinese sun and star against a blue background with red and white stripes below. The patch has a blue backing and the stripes are in wool.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk with twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads wool felt stripes.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
