This is a theatre-made World War II United States Army CBI (China-Burma-India) shoulder patch. The design of the patch is a white Chinese sun and star against a very dark blue wool background with red and white stripes below.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, cotton, muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
