Description
ARTIFACT:
This is a theatre-made World War II CBI (China-Burma-India) shoulder patch for the United States Army. The design of the patch is a white Chinese sun and star against a blue background with red and white stripes below. The patch has a khaki backing and has three snaps on reverse.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 2-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Silk with cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:
Three snaps.
