ARTIFACT: This is a CBI impressed leather patch made for the United States Army Airways Communication System. The patch shows an aircraft orbiting the globe with a lightning bolt in the atmosphere.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5"e; in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Impressed leather.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Very minor wear; leather is soft and supple.
