ARTIFACT:

Great, early WWII, circa 1942 – 1943 M4- A1 Sherman Tank Federal Machine & Welder Co. War Worker lapel pin in gilt sterling. The M4 developed from the medium-sized M3 and first entered combat with the British in North Africa during 1942 and became instrumental in the Pacific Theater of Operations. The pin is a nicely detailed M4-A1 Sherman Tank and reads: "FEDERAL" in embossed detail.

VINTAGE:

Circa early WWII.

SIZE:

Approximately 1/2" x 3/4".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch.
