ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1942 Kansas Ordnance Plant (KOP) "regular" worker lapel pin. The KOP was constructed on land purchased from farmers by the government in 194The pin shows a flaming bomb and is by Greenduck Company of Chicago.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II (1942).

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

Three union marks, GREENDUCK CO. CHICAGO.
