Description
Great, early WWII, circa 1942 - 1943 M4- A1 Sherman Tank Federal Machine & Welder Co. War Worker lapel pin in gilt sterling. The M4 developed from the medium-sized M3 and first entered combat with the British in North Africa during 1942 and became instrumental in the Pacific Theater of Operations. The pin is a nicely detailed M4-A1 Sherman Tank and reads: "FEDERAL" in embossed detail.
VINTAGE:Circa early WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 1/2" in height x 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Single post with screwback.
