Great Chenille WWII US 1st Fighter Group 12th & 15th AF Squadron Patch

This is a beautiful United States Army Air Forces World War II chenille squadron patch from the 1st Fighter group, 12th and 15th Air Forces with the Latin motto meaning conquer or die." One can still see the original price penciled on the reverse: $1.35! This was recently traded back by the customer who purchased it.

Circa World War II.

About 5 ½" in height and about 4 ½" in width.

Chenille on wool felt, embroidery thread, and a cotton support.
