ARTIFACT:

This is a great United States Army Air Forces 78th Fighter Squadron, 15th Fighter Group, 7th Air Force patch. The vibrantly-colored patch shows a cobra with its jaws open wide.

VINTAGE:

World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 6" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt.

CONDITION:
