ARTIFACT: This is a great United States Army Air Forces 78th Fighter Squadron, 15th Fighter Group, 7th Air Force patch. The vibrantly-colored patch shows a cobra with its jaws open wide.

VINTAGE: World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 6" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJJX06 LHIEX11/05/24

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Very minor wear; a few pinpoint-sized moth nips around edges, and one spot of black stain. Overall, it is in excellent condition.
