ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1890's Lewistown, Missouri police badge #1. It is a great small circle cut out star shield with an early H. C. Liepsner & Co. Kansas City maker mark on the reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890's

SIZE: Size: 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/2 in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal one peice safety type pin.

MARKINGS: "LEWIS POLICE. 1. H. C. LIEPSNER & CO. K. C. MO."
