ARTIFACT: This is a large 1910's-20's Labette County, Kansas Deputy Sheriff circle star shield badge. This is a very nicely embellished badge with a 1920's "blue" chrome finish, which is on the top of the solder at the pin hinge, that suggests a repair and chroming during the period of use. The badge originally had a nickel finish.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's-20's.

SIZE: Size: 2-3/4" x 2-1/4.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: "Blue" chrome plated nickel, originally nickel plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with over-under catch.

MARKINGS: "DEPUTY SHERIFF LABETTE CO."

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Nice+): It has been refinished and repaired over years of use, but still has a very nice look to it.
