Description
This is a great Cold War era (circa 1960s) Polish Air Force Lieutenant Colonel visor hat. This hat has several great details in silver bullion, including two stars, an eagle and a double row of trim along the visor's edge. There is a maker mark and hat size inside the lining.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:6 7/8 (approximately 21-1/4" or 55 cm around circumference on inside).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in bullion thread, leather visor, leather liner, cotton/nylon blend band, silk, clear plastic.
ATTACHMENT:Chin strap with buckle.
MARKINGS:03 ?6r 55 (55 cm) label.
