Great 1943 Dated Jacobs Aircraft Engines Parts Box

This is a great parts box from Jacobs Aircraft Engines dated 194Formed in Philadelphia in 1929, Jacobs was absorbed into Republic Industries following World War II. The box still has its tape seal and is reinforced at the corners with metal brackets.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2" in height and 4-3/4" square.

Cardboard with paper tape.

Two piece box with metal reinforced corners.

PART NO. 1189 CHG (blank) QUANTITY 50 NAME GASKET CODE (blank) DATE NOV 1943 JACOBS AIRCRAFT ENGINE CO. PLANT 2; 8 SPI stamp on tape; inside: FORM 811 PACKED BY 63-0141 along with label identical to one on exterior.
