ARTIFACT: Great circa 1943 Wright Aircraft Engines, a division of Curtiss-Wright, sterling lapel wing. The center of the wing features a globe showing the continents in raised enamel detail and an outer ring reads: “WRIGHT AIRCRAFT ENGINES”

VINTAGE: Circa 1943

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8” x 7/16”

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Plated, enameled sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch

MARKINGS: “STER”, “PAT 066969”

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCX16 LFJX5/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The lapel pin shows minor wear, much of the enamel and plated details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
