This is a great circa 1930s or 1940s lead-loaded "sap" self-defense weapon, used widely at the time by police officers. Part of the weapon's body is covered with woven leather, and a lanyard is attached at the non-"business" end.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-3/4" in length (not including strap) and 1" in diameter (at "business" end); 6-1/2" strap drop.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, lead-loaded.
ATTACHMENT:Lanyard, metal loops.
MARKINGS:None.
