Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s or 1930s "sap", a lead-loaded self-defense weapon. The weapon's body is covered with woven leather, and a looped strap is attached at one end.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter (at thick end) and 13-1/4" in length (including strap).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wood, leather, lead.

ATTACHMENT:

Looped strap.
