Great Ca. 1900 Lead-Loaded Leather Sap in Wonderful, Supple Condition

This is a great old circa 1900 lead-loaded "sap" self-defense weapon, used widely at the time by police officers. Part of the weapon's body is covered with woven leather, and a lanyard is attached at the non-"business" end. It would be hard to improve upon this example: it is in wonderful, supple condition.

Circa 1900.

Approximately 8-1/2" in length (not including 8-1/4" strap drop) and 1-3/8" across "business" end.
