Great 1890s US Mail Hat Badge #3

This is a great 1890s US Mail hat badge #The back is a modified pinback from double loops with a straight-pin.

Circa 1890s.

About 3 in width by 2-7/16" in height.

Silver plated brass and painted brass.

Horizontal pin with a "C" catch.

The markings are on the front, above and below the "3": C.J. HELLERS PAT.APR.10.88.
