Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a gorgeous circa late 1930s or World War II Royal Air Force pilot wing. The wing was made in India, which at the time was still part of the British Commonwealth. It is in embroidered wool and the RAF at the center is wreathed by brown laurels.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930s or early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 4-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool embroidered in cotton/silk thread, burlap backing.
