Glycine "Airman" Automatic Pilot's 24 Hour Watch as Used by US Pilots in Vietnam

This is a Glycine "Airman" automatic pilot twenty-four hour watch as worn by United States pilots, both military and civilian, during the Vietnam War. Listed on the reverse of the watch are some of its attributeIncabloc shock protection system, waterproofing and genuine leather straps.

Circa 1960s.

Size 20R: approximately 1-1/2" in width and 8-3/4" in length and 7/16" in thickness.

Leather, stainless steel, glass.

Wrist band with buckle, sliding loop.

GENUINE AIRMAN SWISS on face; GENUINE LEATHER HADLEY-ROMA 20R U.S.A. and ALPHA OMEGA 887 on straps; 4 76938 WATERPROOF AUTOMATIC 23 JEWELS SWISS PAT. 314 050 STAINLESS STEEL INCABLOC on reverse of watch.
