ARTIFACT: This is a rare, modified US Navy pilot wing made by Balfour as used by a Goodyear dirigible pilot. The wing has a striped crest at center.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s - World War II.

SIZE: 2-3/4" wing.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.

MARKINGS: LGB STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a civil aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX10 LEGEX 4/10

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Wing shows light wear and has a handsome tarnish.
