German-Made DI for US Army 524th Engineering Company

This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 524th Engineering Company. The DI is a white crest with an interrupted map of the world and reads MAGNA CUM ARTE.

Circa World War II era.

1-1/4" height and 1-1/16" width.

Plated brass with enameled areas.
