This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 3rd Constabulary Squadron. The DI is a blue and coppery crest reading EVER ONWARD.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-3/16" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:L. CHR. LAUER NURNBERG.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): DI has light wear and tarnish and some slight oxidation.
