ARTIFACT: This is a framed service certificate for the United States Marine Corps 4th Brigade, 2nd Division. The certificate was issued to Donald D. McCrillis and is for his World War I overseas service between July 1918 and July 1919. It is signed by Major General Commandant George Barrett.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 19" in height by 11-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, glass, wood, cardboard backing.

ATTACHMENT: Wire hanger.

MARKINGS: 6-5453, embossed seal, signature of GEORGE BARRETT.

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The certificate has one small area of discoloration and/or water staining; frame is in good condition with some spots of light wear.
