Description
This is a World War I framed "doughboy" photograph showing a member of the United States Army 26th Division. He is wearing a British-made hat (see close-up photo). He is also wearing a patch, though the patch is extremely unclear in the image. Unfortunately, even to the naked eye it is hard to see anything precise, but there is no protrusion where the arm of the 4th Division cross would be, also there appears to be the forward arm of the 'Y' of a 'YD' in the image. The collar disk, is also unclear, but appears to have an Engineer castle on it.
