Description
This is a fantastic circa early 1930s Royal Air Force (RAF) pilot wing. The wing is in a pin-back style and is for wear upon a tropical uniform. Its wreath is embroidered in golden thread and the crown is uniquely detailed: this is possibly of Indian of Far-Eastern manufacture. A stunner!
VINTAGE:Circa early 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 4-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in silk/cotton threads, burlap backing, metal plate/pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin on bar with C catch.
