This is a Fantastic 1939 New Mexico Mounted Patrol Honorary Badge #1 Most Likely Presented to Governor John Miles.
LAS & SCO Dated May 1939 NM governor John Miles was an avid supporter at the Organization which stated in 1937, Making it an official State Agency on 16 April 1941.

SIZE:Approximately 2-5/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.
